Bank committed to community service, prepares 400 meals for charity

Baiduri Bank’s Employee Wellness Initiative (EWI), in collaboration with The Culinary School by Laksamana College of Business (LCB) and the Ministry of Health (MoH) organised a ‘Buat and Bagi’ event recently.

The collaborative effort resulted in the preparation of 400 meals for charity. Baiduri Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ti Eng Hui said, “The ‘Buat and Bagi’ event is a testament to the power of community and compassion. It’s not just about the meals; it’s about coming together to make a difference in the lives of those around us.

“This initiative embodies our commitment to not only serving our customers but also contributing positively to the broader community.”

Ti Eng Hui, Baiduri Bank Deputy CEO of Group Treasury and Institutional Banking Pengiran Azaleen and Baiduri Bank Deputy CEO of Consumer Banking Manuel Bulens led the initiative and directed a team of 50 bank employees.

Together, they packed and delivered meals to patients and frontline employees of MoH’s Psychiatry Department and Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.

Acting Director of Health Services at the MoH Dr Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif received the donation.

The meals were also delivered to Kampong Salambigar Mosque, Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Lambak Kanan Mosque, and Kampong Menunggol Mosque.
