The TIBA Cooperative Association (KOTIBA) held its 40th annual general meeting (AGM) on Sunday at the Ministry of Finance and Economy’s (MoFE) Theatre Hall.
The meeting saw the dissolution of the 2023-2024 Board of Directors and the appointment of new Board Members for the 2024-2025 term.
The AGM aimed to review and confirm the minutes of the previous assembly, present reports and examine the financial statements for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
The event gathered KOTIBA’s Board Members, shareholders, staff from the Cooperative Development Station (UPK) and officials from the MoFE.
The meeting began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a prayer led by the Chairman of KOTIBA’s Welfare and Religious Affairs Subcommittee Haji Abdullah bin Lakim.
This was followed by an opening address from Chairman of the KOTIBA Board for the 40th AGM Haji Matassan bin Haji Bungso.
The agenda proceeded with the review and confirmation of the minutes from the 39th AGM, presented by the Secretary. – Fadley Faisal
