ANN/THE KOREA HERALD – Jisoo, a member of K-pop sensation BLACKPINK, is set to make her highly anticipated return as a solo artist with the release of her new EP, Amortage.
This marks her first solo project in two years, following the success of her debut single album Me, which featured the popular track “Flower” in 2023. The upcoming EP will be the first project under Blissoo, her very own agency dedicated to her solo ventures.
Amortage consists of four tracks, including two in Korean and two in English. The title, a fusion of the Spanish word “amor” (meaning love) and “montage” (symbolising a carefully crafted piece of art), represents a journey that blends various emotional elements.
According to Blissoo, the album captures the full spectrum of love’s experiences.
The lead single, “Earthquake,” explores the exhilarating rush of falling in love, while tracks like “Your Love” convey the joy of deepening affection.
“Tears” delves into the facade of happiness while concealing heartbreak, and “Hugs & Kisses” celebrates the self-discovery and freedom that follow the end of a relationship.
