The semi-final rounds of the National Al-Quran Reading Competition for Adults for 1445 Hijrah will be held from tomorrow to November 8 from 8am to noon and from 1.45pm at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas. The results will be announced and prizes and souvenirs presented to contestants and judges on November 9 at the same venue.
Some 54 participants comprising 43 male and 11 female will compete in the semi-finals. The competition will be broadcast live on the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ social media. – Azlan Othman
