Some 18 members from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Army Cadet Team were promoted at the university’s auditorium recently.
Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) Commanding Officer of Army Cadets Major Saleha binti Haji Alim presented the new ranks. One was promoted to staff sergeant, three to sergeant, six to corporal and the rest to lance corporal.
The ceremony was held to honour the cadets for their efforts and studies. It is also aimed at motivating and strengthening their spirits in providing service.
UNISSA’s Director of the Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language (PPIB) Dr Supri bin Haji Sudin was present with army cadet team officers. – Azlan Othman
