The final of National Al-Quran Reading Competition for Adults for 1444 Hijrah will take place from July 4 to 6 at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas, starting at 7.30pm.
Themed ‘Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa Menghadapi Ujian Dengan Petunjuk Al-Quran’, 12 will compete in the finals.
The male finalists are: Haji Nasrul Fakhri bin Haji Yahya, Ahmad Zulwaqar bin Suhaili, Pengiran Haji Amirul Aiman bin Pengiran Haji Marjuki, Awangku Adi Nazri bin Pengiran Haji Jofri, Ahmad Syuja’ie bin Begawan Mudim Haji Matassim and Ashizal bin Zainal Abidin.
Meanwhile, the female competitors are: Dayangku Fauziah Nadhirah binti Pengiran Haji Jofri, Hajah Nurfaezah binti Haji Emran, Dayangku Siti Ummi Syazana binti Pengiran Haji Marjuki, Dayangku Nurul Sakinah Adawiyah binti Pengiran Ainolazahar, Dr Hajah Siti Wardah binti Major (Rtd) Haji Abdul Rahman, and Amal Nazirah binti Haji Asmat.
Guests, committee members, participants of the exhibition are advised to undergo ART test at home and upload the results to BruHealth on the day of the event.
The male prayer hall is available on the first floor, while the female prayer hall is at the ICC surau.
The public is welcome to attend the event to gain assistance from Al-Quran as well as blessings from Allah the Almighty. – Azlan Othman
