Al-Hilal emerged the champion of a mini-futsal tournament, while Al-Ahly took the second spot, followed by Al-Nassar in third place.
Meanwhile, the best player and top scorer went to Izz Naqib from Al-Hilal and Adam Ukaasya, from the same team, won the Best Goal Keeper award.
The tournament was held on Friday by Kelas Persediaan Tahfiz. Three groups of students comprising Al-Ahly, Al-Nassar and Al-Hilal competed in the tournament at the OFA Futsal Court, Jerudong.
According to founder and facilitator of Kelas Persediaan Tahfiz Himesadeja binti Adenan, the tournament aimed at promoting unity and teamwork among the students and serves as a medium of motivation for students to be more spirited in memorising Al-Quran. – Rokiah Mahmud
