Teams representing the Sultanate at the Miss SHOPhia Shopping Hunt 5.0 in Malaysia were among the top winners taking up second and third spots in the hunt.

The teams were flagged off from The Top Penang by Deputy Director General of Promotion of Tourism Malaysia Datuk Musa Haji Yusof, senior officials Tourism Malaysia (TM) and strategic partners.

Local and international teams had the opportunity to discover Penang’s hidden treasures, and conquer challenges while snapping photos and sharing their experiences.

The shopping hunt serves as a platform to boost awareness on Penang and Miss SHOPhia.

This year, participants are encouraged to embrace sustainable travel options, such as public transportation and the convenience of e-hailing services, to access shopping havens, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization heritage sites and restaurants.
