Setia Motors Sdn Bhd, the main distributor of Hyundai cars in the Sultanate, presented donations and goodie bags to 62 orphans yesterday.
Setia Motors Business Development Manager Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Mu’iz bin Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris handed over green packets to the recipients at Setia Motors showroom.
Setia Motors General Manager James Chin was also present Setia Motors Human Resource Manager Ramli bin Ahad said, “Alone we can only do so little, together we can do so much.”
The families were identified through the Community Development Department (JAPEM), Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB), and also the Setia Motors staff families.
The annual Majlis Penyerahan Derma Anak-Anak Yatim initiative is an event aimed at bringing festive cheer to orphans in preparation for Hari Raya. It is part of the company’s commitment to support the community and promote social responsibility.
