WASHINGTON (Bernama-dpa) — US-based software giant Adobe on Wednesday reported an increase in earnings in its fourth quarter compared to last year, beating analysts’ estimates, reported German news agency (dpa).
The company’s bottom line came in at USD1.48 billion, or USD3.23 per share. This compares with USD1.18 billion, or USD2.53 per share, in last year’s fourth quarter.
Excluding items, Adobe reported adjusted earnings of USD1.96 billion or USD4.27 per share for the period.
Analysts on average had expected the company to earn USD4.14 per share. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.
The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 11.5 per cent to USD5.05 billion from USD4.53 billion last year.
