Porsche Brunei, represented by QAF Prestige Sdn Bhd paid tribute to the continuous support of local media in an appreciation dinner on Saturday.
The event featured the launch of latest generation Cayenne Turbo GT, a testament to Porsche’s relentless pursuit of innovation and performance in the special event.
In the exclusive media appreciation dinner at the Porsche Centre, QAF Prestige General Manager Lahiru De Silva in his speech highlighted Porsche Brunei’s key achievements last year.
“2023 was the most remarkable year for Porsche Brunei as we were able to introduce our new identity as QAF Prestige. We also celebrated our 25th year in the automotive industry in Brunei with great success.
“The dream of the sports car lives on and grows stronger each year. The enduring demand for Porsche sports cars in Brunei is evident in our success,” De Silva said.
He added, “The transformation was much more than a change in visual identity; it was a renewed commitment to excellence and a reflection of Porsche Brunei’s evolving vision in the luxury sports car segment. The rebranding emphasised the mission of delivering ‘Inspiring Luxury Sports Car Experiences’ resonating with the brand’s dedication to innovation, design and performance.”
“Another highlight was a special 911 owners’ drive to Temburong District, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the legendary sports car. Porsche Brunei’s 2023 portfolio included a variety of exclusive models, such as the action-ready 911 Dakar.”
