Sunshine School yesterday celebrated Children’s Day in line with the theme ‘Inclusion, For Every Child’. Children from Kindergarten 1 to Year 6 participated in the event at the school premises.
Principal Tan Lay Kim said the celebration aimed to create opportunities for students to enhance their mathematical, problem solving, communication and endurance skills.
The day’s highlights were Pupil’s Booth Sales where children sold their choice of products; performances; games; and parent’s car boot sales.
The event ended with a prize presentation to winners of a fancy/outrageous hat competition for both the students and the teachers.
