Some 25 participants comprising public servants from various ministries and agencies completed their basic introduction to Arabic language communication course carried out every Tuesday and Wednesday from November 1 to 23.
The course was coordinated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through Ta’zeez Al-Lughah Al-‘Arabiah Bil Madaris Al-‘Arabiah Programme Unit of the Permanent Secretary Office in collaboration with the Planning and Human Resources Development Section.
A closing ceremony and certificate presentation was held yesterday at Multaqa Hall, MoRA.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan was present.
The deputy minister said the course was aimed at exposing participants to basic Arabic language while encouraging the use of common Arabic phrases in their daily communications.
The course participants comprised officers and staff from the Prime Minister’s Office, Royal Brunei Police Force, Ministry of Defence, MoRA and Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
