2021 public exams’ results show improvement: Acting Director of Schools

A total of 97.88 per cent candidates obtained at least two ‘A’ Level in the Brunei-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (BC-GCE) ‘A’ Level examination in 2021, an increase of 8.83 per cent from 2020’s result. Overall, 90.81 per cent of candidates have achieved at least three ‘A’ Level in 2021, an improvement of 15.5 per cent from 2020’s 75.31 per cent. Meanwhile, 56.48 candidates obtained five ‘O’ Level and above for the BC GCE ‘O’ Level and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in 2021, as compared to 45.28 per cent in 2020, while 75.92 per cent of students achieved grade A to C in Primary School Assessment (PSR) for 2021. This was said by Acting Director of Schools Dr Sheikh Lukman bin Sheikh Abdul Hamid during the 2021 Outstanding Achiever’s Awards presentation ceremony at Bridex Hall on Saturday.
