The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) organised the 69th Dai’e Guidance Talk (Halaqah) at its conference hall in Kampong Pulaie yesterday.
Some 100 participants from the Religious Department of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Department of Mosque Affairs and Islamic Eminence Development Division of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, lecturers and assistant lecturers from the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), dai’e representatives from public and private sectors, accredited da’ie from the Islamic Religious Council, and officers and staff of PDI attended. PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh was the guest of honour at the event.
KUPU SB Centre for Jawi and Kitab Turath Studies’ senior assistant professor Dr Haji Harapandi Dahri was the facilitator, who later delivered a presentation, followed by discussion and question-and-answer session.
The event aimed to impart knowledge, share issues and exchange ideas related to the topics of the featured lectures. – Rokiah Mahmud
