Bruneian youth were called to play their part to help the Sultanate achieve Brunei Vision 2035.
The national vision can be achieved with the youth’s help as they comprise nearly half the population of Brunei. They are also the biggest stakeholder of the country’s future as they will still be here in 17 years when Brunei Vision 2035 is achieved, Brunei Young Leaders Convention (BYLC) 2023 Chairperson Iswandy bin Ahmad said during the convention’s closing ceremony yesterday.
The convention’s third and final day kicked off with a forum on Brunei Vision 2035’s third goal of having a dynamic and sustainable economy.
Acting Permanent Secretary (Youth) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, the guest of honour, interacted with the youth and young leaders.
The convention at Universiti Teknologi Brunei saw 140 aspiring youth and leaders attending forums and clinics to network and interact with experts of various fields.
BYLC 2023 is held in conjunction with Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition 2023 (Brunei MYCE 2023).
