Youth Singapore bound to strengthen vocational skills

Kolej International Graduate Studies (IGS) students Asyura Fadhilah binti Mohammad Jefry, Mechelle anak Begal and Muhammad Haziq Zulfadli bin Othman from the Faculty of Information Technology (IT), and Siti Khairunissa binti Abdullah from HNTec in Computer Networking, School of ICT from Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Jefri Bolkiah Campus were selected to participate in the ASEAN-Republic of Korea technical and vocational education (TVET) mobility programme at Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore until November 7.

The programme features a four-week IT course, offering students the chance to enhance their IT skills, build international networks with peers in ASEAN and gain expertise in the latest technologies.

It also helps strengthen vocational education and foster collaboration between ASEAN and South Korea, empowering youth to succeed in the global workforce.

This is the third group of Bruneian students participating in the initiative to improve TVET skills in ASEAN. – Lyna Mohamad
