The Veterans Association of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (PERWIRA) organised a school holiday camp in Anggerek Desa recently.
The camp was held for the children and grandchildren of association members, where activities included setting up tents on the field, basic field cooking, planting durian seedlings (belanda, montong and pulu durian) and watching a movie.
The programme was organised by the special activities team led by (Rtd) Edynor bin Bujang, who also acted as the camp leader. The camp aimed to strengthen familial bonds, teach respect and encourage independence in youth.
