    Youth groups foster Ramadhan spirit

Some 62 people participated in Nur Ramadhan 2.0 Belia Al-Mujahideen, a community-driven programme aimed at fostering social responsibility and strengthening faith through various charitable activities.

Organised by Belia Imtiyaz, in collaboration with Nadi Al-Qawi Al-Amin, Kelab Fikrah and Pasukan Pengakap Kelana 1033 Terbuka Gadong, the two-day programme continued until Saturday at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Bolkiah ‘A’.

The initiative sought to instil gratitude, boost confidence and promote communal worship among youth while encouraging acts of kindness. Activities included Qiamullail (late-night prayers), sahur and sungkai Jamaie (pre-dawn and breaking fast meals), religious discussions, charity drives and Al-Quran recitations.

The programme also included food distribution and assistance for underprivileged families in Kampong Bolkiah ‘A’ and ‘B’.

Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College Acting Deputy Ra’es Dr Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha, the guest of honour, presented certificates of appreciation to programme sponsors.

Organisers hoped that the programme will bring blessings to all involved, reinforcing unity and empathy within the community. – Fadley Faisal
