Nine trainees under the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Skill as well as the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Maintenance Skill Courses from the Youth Development Centre, accompanied by four instructors participated in a campaign at Menunggol Mosque in Kampong Menunggol as part of their corporate social responsibility on Thursday.
The campaign was conducted in collaboration with the Brunei Youth Council, Green Brunei and Projek #INFAQ1 and saw the trainees, including four youth volunteers from Green Brunei, service nine air conditioning units in the mosque, replace broken faucets and repair the toilet plumbing.
The volunteers also conducted a cleaning campaign inside the mosque and its compound.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Khairunnisa binti Haji Ash’ari as the project manager was also present. Contributions from Koperasi Pusat Pembangunan Belia and Projek #INFAQ1 were presented to mosque imam Mohammad Zulhafiz Zariq bin Damit.
