The Tutong District Youth Council (MBDT) held a celebration yesterday with Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri as the guest of honour.
MBDT Vice President Ahanapi bin Haji Mahadi in his welcoming speech said the ceremony is one of the annual events of MBDT with the cooperation of the youth associations under MBDT in celebrating the month of victory for Muslims.
Yesterday’s ceremony also saw the presentation of donations for the Tutong District Orphans Fund from MBDT handed over to the guest of honour. The celebration also featured singing performances and lucky draw prizes.
MBDT President I Haji Yakup bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the chairperson of the ceremony and members of MBDT executive committee were among those present. – Lyna Mohamad
