Approximately 40 youth aged between 12 and 15 completed their participation in the Youth Caliph Camp 2024 at the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
Organised by Al-Jiilul Faatih, the four-day, three-night programme, themed ‘Reach For The STAR’, aimed to unlock the participants’ self-potential, cultivate essential leadership skills and foster positive attributes such as responsibility, competitiveness and solidarity.
The programme aimed at emulating the leadership qualities of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as outlined in Surah Al-Ahzab; developing strong leadership characteristics and provide a platform for youth to engage in positive and beneficial activities; instilling a spirit of teamwork, tolerance and solidarity among participants from diverse backgrounds; deepening participants’ understanding of Islam and its moral principles; and cultivating commendable character traits and values. – Lyna Mohamad
