The 9th Mahabbah Lillah Hijrah Youth Camp programme, organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) and coordinated by Al-Qudwah Group of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) concluded on the second day yesterday.
The second day saw participants engaged in a community service distributing 100 sandwiches and beverages to the public in Gadong. Vice President II of Al-Qudwah 2023/2024 session Nur Amal Afiqah binti Muhammad Nor Rosman said the food was distributed among pedestrians and foreign workers in the area.
The camp featured activities including Tayammum and Ablution Workshop, a talk on appreciating parents, team building and amazing race, she said.
The programme aimed to allow youth gain confidence, enrich their Islamic knowledge, public speaking and leadership skills. – Rokiah Mahmud
