Atiyah Mansurah binti Raffaie, a 16-year-old student from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School, won the grand prize of a BND3,000 umrah voucher in the Darussalam Services Sdn Bhd (DSSB) Lucky Draw, held in conjunction with the Sabre Brunei Travel Fair 2024.

Atiyah Mansurah had purchased a ticket to South Korea at the fair. In an interview, she expressed her surprise at winning. “I didn’t expect to win the grand prize. I’m really happy, and I’m thinking of using the voucher to perform umrah as I’ve heard it’s a unique experience,” she said.

Atiyah Mansurah explained that her choice to purchase the ticket to South Korea was driven by her interest in the country’s culture, architecture, and traditional food. “Apart from K-pop, I wanted to learn more about the people and culture of South Korea,” she added.

Other lucky winners included Noramarinah binti Amir, who won a return ticket to Melbourne, Australia, and Quratu Anum binti Haji Ibrahim, who won a ticket to Japan.

The fourth prize, a return ticket to South Korea, went to Asyraf Wajdi binti Haji Mosli, while the fifth prize of a return ticket to Bangkok, Thailand, was awarded to Nornaimah binti Zainip.
