    Young executive programme returns

    The ninth Young Executive Programme (YEP-9) began yesterday with an opening ceremony at the Civil Service Institute (IPA) building participated by 25 programme participants.

    Deputy Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Pengiran Haji Raffizanna bin Pengiran Haji Razali was the guest of honour.

    “The objective of the YEP is to nurture and develop potential leaders, with high values and positive behaviours, who are then able to achieve the desired results and improve organisational performance. The programme is also intended to strengthen the capabilities of future leaders to meet the ever-changing needs of the public,” it said in a statement.

    Director-General of the Public Service Department (PSD) Dr Norfarizal bin Othman, Director of IPA Dr Hajah Noor Maya binti Haji Mohd Salleh as well as officials from both departments were also present.

    The programme will continue until August 31.
