    Young entrepreneur in the making

Venturing into business at a young age can be rewarding, providing experience and skills that may become valuable in the future.

Ten-year-old student Nur Izzah Hannah Imanina binti Rudi Hartono Abdul Malik knows it all too well. She began her entrepreneurship journey by selling anime, K-pop and cartoon cards and stickers after seeing online sellers promoting them on social media platforms with positive feedback.

She became interested in doing the same and confided in her parents, who gave her the support she needed to buy products for sale.

She then sourced her products both locally and abroad.

Nur Izzah Hannah Imanina’s mother Sarina binti Ibrahim believes that parents should support their children’s interests and that her daughter will get to learn about the value of money through generating her own income.

The young businesswoman is currently selling cards and stickers at Gerai Muafakat Tasik Sarubing Recreational Park.

She said she plans to be more active in the future, including continuing selling her products to her peers. – Rokiah Mahmud
