Over 100 yoga enthusiasts gathered at the multi purpose hall of Panaga Club, Kuala Belait to celebrate the ninth International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2023 yesterday. The Indian Association of Belait (IAB) and Art of Living (AOL) facilitated the event with support from Panaga Club.
Second Secretary (Press, Info, Cons and Community Affairs) Pramod Kumar and his spouse participated representing the office of the High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam.
The session began with opening remarks from AOL Chairperson Harry Yap and followed by a session from trained yoga expert Ravishankar Yadav with support from volunteers.
The session included postures and breathing exercises, leading to improved health and calmness of the mind and wellness of the body.
The participants from various nationalities attending the session thanked AOL and IAB for arranging the event.
The event concluded with closing remarks from IAB President Salimo.
