A nationhood briefing was held for Year 7 students at St Margaret’s School in the Belait District recently.
The programme by the Information Department, is an ongoing effort to inculcate love for the monarch, religion and country.
It is also hoped that the programme can strengthen the spirit of solidarity, patriotism and nationalism in the students.
Seventy students attended the briefing.
The school’s principal Liew Yong Kim and teaching staff were also present.
The briefing touched on the monarch, the procedure for flying the national flag – ensuring that the flag is in good condition, clean, not torn and faded, and the history of the national anthem of Brunei Darussalam.
