Nearly 200 Year 7 students from Sayyidina Hasan Secondary School attended a briefing on ‘Our Ruler, Appreciate the Flag and National Anthem of Brunei Darussalam’ by the Nationhood Unit, Strategic Communication Division of the Information Department yesterday.
The briefing took place at the school’s multipurpose hall.
Head of the Nationhood Unit Hajah Noorihijrah binti Haji Idris delivered the briefing which touched on the benevolent ruler, the procedure on hoisting the national flag and history of Brunei’s national anthem. The students also watched an animated video clip on the ‘Procedure to Raise the National Flag’.
Students also participated in a national quiz and received prizes from the Information Department presented by the school Principal Moss bin Mat Juni. – Azlan Othman
