The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) contributed BND20,000 to the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam (PPPBD) to support the association as the host of the international event ‘Share, Learn Grow’ (SLG).
Acting Managing Director and member of Yayasan Board of Director Ahmad Jefri bin Abdul Rahman presented the contribution to Commissioner of PPPBD Siti Mariam binti Haji Abdullah.
The SLG will kick off today and joined by more than 200 girl guides.
Various activities have been outllined for the event including a forum, visits, recreation and tree planting.
The contribution was part of the effort of Yayasan to support and promote youth involvement in community development. – Rokiah Mahmmud
