As part of its annual Childhood Cancer Awareness initiative, the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) is expanding its reach across Brunei’s four districts with dedicated events throughout the year.
The latest event took place at the auditorium of the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong District last Sunday.
This year, YASKA has strategically chosen mosques as venues to engage with a broader audience, particularly targeting Muslimah groups comprising grandmothers, mothers, and aunties of YASKA children.
The aim is to raise awareness not only about childhood cancer but also about Thalassaemia, obesity, and iron deficiency anaemia, which are current health concerns among children.
The upcoming campaigns are scheduled for September in Kuala Belait and December in Temburong, continuing YASKA’s efforts to spread awareness and support for childhood health issues across the country.
