The Google Developer Group (GDG) Brunei and Women Techmakers (WTM) Brunei, with the support of Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) held a CircuiTech Wizard workshop at the Sepakat Room at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas yesterday as part of the National Youth Day Convention.
Forty participants were introduced to Arduino coding with IDE Software. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software.
Participants learnt about the theory behind the process and applied the knowledge by completing several projects.
Seria Energy Lab (SEL) head Nur Karnina binti Karim and STEM facilitator Hilmi Rashid led the workshop.
WTM Brunei Ambassador Saedah binti Hasnal said, “The workshop is an effort to equip youth with the skills needed to be future ready.” She also added that the event provides a safe space for those with a similar interest to network and learn from each other.
The two-day workshop concludes today.
