Politeknik Brunei (PB) and Huawei Technologies (B) Sdn Bhd recently hosted a collaborative workshop on green technology at the lecture hall of the School of Science and Engineering at PB Lumut Campus.
The workshop commenced with Head of School of Petrochemical Mohd Izuddin bin Mohd Asri reciting Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by remarks and a presentation of the PB Tenaga Lestari Project by the PB Acting Director.
The workshop also featured a presentation on Huawei Green Energy Solution and the Huawei Fusion Solar Management System, accompanied by a live demonstration, showcasing the potential of authentic learning in green technology. Participants also visited the PB Tenaga Lestari Project, featuring a 20 kW Solar Photovoltaic Net Metering System.
Representatives from Huawei, PB, OSCO Sdn Bhd, MegaWatt Solar Solutions Sdn Bhd, Berakas Power Company Sdn Bhd, Department of Planning and Estate Management, Science, Technology, Environment Partnership (STEP)Centre, Strategic Enterprise Performance and Delivery Unit at the Ministry of Education, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali and Institute of Brunei Technical Education were present. – James Kon
