A delegation from the Brunei Darussalam MABIMS Secretariat attended the MABIMS 2026-2030 Strategic Plan Preparation Workshop on July 23 and 24 in Singapore.
The workshop’s main objective was to discuss and re-evaluate the achievements and challenges of MABIMS member countries over the past four years in implementing the MABIMS Strategic Plan 2021-2025 and further assist in drafting a new MABIMS Strategic Plan.
The two-day workshop organised by the Singapore MABIMS Secretariat was attended by secretariats from MABIMS member countries. Head of the Policy and Strategic Division at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) as head of delegation Pengiran Anak Dr Haji Amiruddin Alam Shah bin Pengiran Anak Haji Ismail; Acting Head of Public Relations, International and MABIMS Division as Head of the MABIMS Secretariat Rosyanti binti Haji Lamat; and Special Duties Officer (Grade 1) of Public Relations, International and MABIMS Division as MABIMS Secretariat Officer Pengiran Muhammad Azrin bin Pengiran Jarail represented the Sultanate.
The involvement of each MABIMS member country is crucial to provide opportunities for the secretariats to present ideas to ensure effectiveness in drafting the MABIMS 2026-2030 Strategic Plan, which will be the main reference in guiding the direction of MABIMS member countries for the next five years. – Azlan Othman
