Some 32 converts, including members of the Muallafpreneurs Consortium across the nation, attended a Roti Canai Making Skills workshop yesterday.

The session, part of the Hijrah Project was held at the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI). Muallaf Development Division head Datin Dr Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub and Ilmar Enterprise Manager Haji Wan Ramli bin Wan Ibrahim delivered opening remarks.

The Hijrah Project is an initiative under PDI’s Muallaf Development Division. The workshop was organised in collaboration with Ilmar Enterprise.

Facilitated by Haji Wan Ramli, the workshop was conducted in two groups, with the second session scheduled for next week.

The training aims to support converts, particularly those conducting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) businesses, by providing skills and guidance to enhance their entrepreneurial ventures.

The workshop aims to inspire and empower underprivileged converts.

PDI Assistant Director Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman was present at the workshop. The event began with a group photo followed with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah and a Doa. – Lyna Mohamad
