I would like to bring attention to the wooden walkway in Kampong Tamoi Tengah, Kampong Ayer, which is on the verge of collapse.
Residents are counting down the days when the structure completely gives way and the debris swept away during high tide.
We have raised the issue with authorities but so far, repair works have yet been implemented.
I hope this letter conveys the urgency of the matter, as for as long as it remains unattended to, the danger posed to the residents will persist.
