The much-anticipated Propel Women’s Basketball Tournament tipped off amid much fanfare at the Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) Basketball Court in Batu Bersurat last night.
The opening day of the tournament saw Golden Girls beat Minimau 65-28. Golden Girls’ player Tong Sing Ching top-scored with 22 points to her name while captain Tan Lang Ee and Ah Wai Ching were also in double digits.
Six teams are contesting in the tournament. – Fadhil Yunus
