The Women Graduates Association of Brunei Darussalam (PSW) held a Tedarus Al-Quran ceremony as part of its annual Ramadhan activities recently.
Led by the association’s president and attended by vice presidents, admin committee members, PSW members as well as their families and friends, the Tedarus has been carried out daily since the start of the holy month from the Jame’ ’Asr Hassanil Bolkiah via virtual platform, and will conclude with a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at the end of Ramadhan.
The activity aims to encourage members to reflect (istiqamah) on and understand Al-Quran, as well as foster lasting relationships between women during Ramadhan to inculcate a pure mind as stated in Surah Al-Imran, Verse 164. It is also hoped to motivate others to engage in Tedarus and receive blessings from Allah the Almighty.
