A 47-year-old Indonesian woman was sentenced to four months’ jail for overstaying 806 days in the Sultanate.
Umiasih’s visit pass expired on January 27, 2020. She had entered the country through Sungai Tujoh Control Post on January 13, 2020.
Magistrate Harnita Zelda Skinner further heard from Immigration Prosecutor Adi Yusra bin Haji Adanan that the offence was discovered when immigration enforcement personnel conducted an inspection on a vegetable stall at STKRJ Kampong Lambak Kiri on April 13.
