Dr Mulfi Ibrahim Alkhinjar, a guest onboard the flight, volunteered to assist with the delivery alongside Cabin Service Officer Romzi Haji Mohamad Yusof and Cabin Crew Siti Nurhafizzah Metassan.

On the experience, Dr Alkhinjar said, “When we delivered the baby, that was when I realised – I just delivered a baby in the skies, and when I held him, I felt very proud and honoured to have helped bring another person to life. The head crew member Romzi was very organised and helpful, and the staff seemed very well trained for these types of situations. They acted and responded accordingly with the proper measures, it was a smooth experience because of their assistance.”
