Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (MDPMAMB) held its annual multimedia speech competition which was won by Matthew Abel Robles Filio in the English category and Fatin Noor Hasibah binti Noor Aflan in the Malay category at the college’s Lecture Theatre on Thursday.
The competition was organised by the Exco of Public Relations of the Student Representative Council.
The guest of honour was Principal of MDPMAMB Dayangku Nooramaliatifah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad.
The event began with the recitation of Doa by Mohammad Hamiz Mirza bin Haji Surdiman.
The finalists in the Malay category then gave their speeches followed by the finalists in the English category. The event concluded with the awarding of prizes to the winners.
The competition provided the students with an opportunity to showcase their talents by incorporating multimedia presentation skills to complement their speeches to answer the question, “How can higher education contribute to Brunei Vision 2035?”
