As a Bruneian, I am proud to see our national athletes in their best form performing in their respective disciplines in the current 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Phnom Penh.
Winning the bronze medal in badminton was quite an impressive feat for the national shuttlers and the national karate team also deserve a shout out for bagging bronze in the kumite event.
Our national ‘golden’ wushu star Mohamad Adi Salihin bin Roslan is a source of inspiration for other budding athletes in proving that nothing is impossible with hard work and dedication.
I look forward to see more surprises from our national athletes in bringing glory to our country with the honour of having to listen to our national anthem played first before the rest.
