The Ministry of Health (MoH) recorded 389 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday from 388 positive results from antigen rapid test (ART) kits and one from RT-PCT laboratory tests, according to Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar during a press conference yesterday.
The number of weekly cases of COVID-19 has decreased to 227 cases per day this week, compared to 255 cases per day in the previous week.
The minister said yesterday there was one case in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and is under close supervision.
Also present was Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin.
