The Institution of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects (PUJA) Academy Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Steven Thiru and Sudhar Partnership, hosted a webinar titled ‘Planet v Profit: Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Compliance and the Upward Trend of ESG Related Disputes’ recently.
The event, led by ESG expert David Dinesh Mathew, focused on the growing importance of ESG regulations and the legal risks associated with non-compliance. As companies faced increasing pressure to align with ESG principles, the session explored the impact of failing to meet these standards, particularly in regions like Europe, Australia and New Zealand, where ESG-related litigation had been on the rise.
The webinar provided insights into the global application of ESG regulations, helping professionals stay ahead of the evolving compliance landscape. The webinar saw 36 participants engaging in discussions and gaining a deeper understanding of ESG compliance challenges.
