I would like to highlight an issue that has been plaguing Brunei, that is, yellow tap water. It has been going on for a while now, and despite lodging multiple complaints with the authorities, the situation has not improved by much.
I am worried that if the issue persisted, it would not only pose inconvenience to our daily lives but also worsen our health.
Despite all the flushing that has been done to the water system, the problem keeps returning.
Perhaps it is high time that we find the root cause and look for ways to resolve it once and for all.
While the authorities work on finding long-term solutions, they should also offer short-term reliefs such as ensuring that the water supply is clean. And once the issue is behind us, there ought to be plans to maintain the quality of water by making necessary improvements on the system itself.
