Several areas will experience water supply interruption and low water pressure tomorrow from 9am until works are completed due to salt water tank cleaning, the Public Works Department at the Ministry of Development announced yesterday.
Affected areas include Kampong Masin, Kampong Bengkurong, Kampong Sinarubai, Kampong Bebatik Kulapis, Kampong Bebatik Kilanas, Kampong Mulaut, Jalan Limpaki, Jalan Lubok Sigurun and surrounding areas.
The public can contact Darussalam Line 123, live chat 123 at 8333123 to apply for the supply of water tanker. Meanwhile, the department also announced a temporary half-lane closure after the traffic light junction of Jalan Gadong/Katok bound in Jalan Telanai due to mill and resurface works.
The works began yesterday and will run until January 7, 2023, from 9pm to 6am.
Road users are advised to take extra caution when passing the area and to comply with road traffic signs as well as the speed limit.
