The Public Works Department (JKR) under the Ministry of Development is carrying out emergency repair works on a leaking 300mm water pipe in Kampong Guayan, Jalan Bukit Udal, Tutong, the department announced.
In light of the repair works, residents in Kampong Bukit Udal including from the intersection of Jalan Kecil Bukit Kukub until the T-junction at Jalan Pak Bidang will experience water supply disruption and low water pressure.
Meanwhile, residents along the Rimba Air Force Base, Sultan’s Flight, Pharmacy Services Department in Kampong Madaras and its vicinity will also experience water disruption today from 10pm until 2am tomorrow.
This is to allow for PE pipe connecting works measuring 225mm located in front of the Rimba Air Force Base and Sultan’s Flight area.
The department assured the public that every step has been taken to bring back the water supply to normal as soon as possible and sought public cooperation to use water sparingly.
The public can contact Darussalam Line 123 to obtain clean water through water tankers or lodge a report on clean water supply issues.
