Water disruptions in a number of areas are expected as replacement works are carried out at the Layong Water Treatment Plant in Tutong District, said the Public Works Department (JKR).
The replacement of a 600mm discharge valve on the Sungai Burong clean water pump at the treatment plant begins tonight at 9pm until midnight.
Locations along Jalan Lamunin, Kampong Katimahar, Kampong Tanjong Nangka, Kampong Jerudong, Kampong Tanjung Bunut, areas along Jalan Jangsak, Kampong Mata-Mata and the surrounding area will experience low water pressure or no supply, especially in high areas, said the JKR.
The department asked for the cooperation of all parties to be frugal in water consumption, adding that clean water supply tankers can be requested through Darussalam Line 123.
