A leaking pipe at the Layong Water Treatment Plant is the cause of water disruptions in several mukims in the Brunei-Muara and Tutong districts, said the Public Works Department.
The disruptions began on Monday night at 8pm, and supply will be restored after repair works have been completed, said the department.
Affected areas include mukims Berakas ‘A’, Berakas ‘B’, Mentiri, Gadong ‘A’, Gadong ‘B’, Sengkurong in the Brunei-Muara District and mukims Telisai, Tanjong Maya, Pekan Tutong and Keriam in the Tutong District.
The public can collect water from blue tanks located at the Kampong Jangsak Mosque, Kampong Perpindahan Mata-Mata Mosque, Mohammad Bolkiah Mosque, Kampong Serusop
the mosques at Kampong Jangsak, Kampong Perpindahan Mata-Mata, Mohammad Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Serusop, Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, Kampong Pulaie Mosque and Kampong Sungai Hanching Mosque.
