WARGAMAS Association (PW), a prominent non-governmental organisation (NGO), continues to thrive as a dynamic platform fostering unity, camaraderie, and friendship since its establishment.
“PW serves as a model NGO for the youth in this nation, as its leaders and members exemplify maturity, exemplary behaviour, and compassion,” stated Haji Abu Bakar bin Haji Mohd Don, President of WARGAMAS Association, during the 2024 Year-End Gathering and Action Campaign in conjunction with International Volunteer Day at Rasa Ceria Café, Beribi Telanai, Tuesday.
Haji Abu Bakar revealed that PW has successfully amassed 1,150 members since its inception. The gathering aimed to strengthen bonds among members while focusing on fostering goodwill.
As an NGO, PW remains steadfast in its commitment to continuous efforts and lifelong learning, reflecting its optimism and dedication to its mission.
The event was further enlivened with a performance of the organisation’s official anthem, WARGAMAS BERJAYA, by PW members.
Distinguished attendees included PW Advisory Council members Dato Paduka Dr Awang Haji Ismail bin Haji Duraman, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Metussin bin Baki, and Awang Haji Abdul Hakim bin Haji Mohd Yassin, alongside other PW members.
With its ongoing efforts and growing membership, Pertubuhan WARGAMAS continues to inspire and pave the way for active volunteerism in Brunei Darussalam. – Fadley Faisal
